Ruan Louw

Head of Student Cricket

Ruan has a Level 4 ECB master coach qualification and a P.G Dip in Elite Cricket. He has previously held roles at Hertfordshire (2012-13), Middlesex Cricket (2013-15), The University of York Head Coach (2015-17) and Yorkshire County Cricket Club Women’s 1st XI Head Coach (2016-17). He has also spent much time with Yorkshire CCC men’s 1st XI and was Yorkshire Diamonds Assistant Coach.

More recently he has been Coaching Director at Nelson Cricket in New Zealand and spent time working with the Central Stags as well as assisting with the Pakistan national side in their preparations for their ODI’s against the Blackcaps.

He has a wealth of experience coaching and developing players of all abilities and is also a qualified ECB Coaching tutor. He is also currently a player scout for the England Women’s programme.

Jack Bradbury

Cricket Coach

Jack's been playing cricket for as long as he can remember, joining Ashbrittle Cricket Club aged eight. Since then he has fine-tuned his skill-set to become an effective medium paced bowler. During his time at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Jack helped the first team to British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) indoor title in 2012, and was runner up in 2013.

 

In his role as full-time coach, Jack oversees the coaching programme of the University men's 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams, whilst also assisting the ladies' 1st team. Jack also heads up the Exeter College development programme and is responsible for junior coaching, including holiday activities.

 

Qualifications: England Cricket Board Level 3 Cricket Coach.

 

Jack is available for one to one coaching sessions for all ages and abilities.
